Somedays my wife drives me to work.
On other days I take a taxi or a bike in summer.
The journey takes me 5 to 10 minutes by car.
I follow the east side river. It doesn't feel like the city. It's like the countryside with its curving roads, and on the other side of the river, Gatineau and its typical small houses.
The city manifests itself in a slow, progressive manner, through little signs.
The bridge, the old town hall.
All of a sudden, one turns to the left and finds themselves in the market.
The road home is even more beautiful.
At one point you go down a hill and all of a sudden the river opens up...it's like facing the sea.
