I insist on taking my car every morning, even if it would be easy for me to walk to work.
My route mostly consists of two streets that cross through several neighbourhoods.
The journey starts in my italo/chinese neighbourhood, then stretches through "mechanicsville', followed by an old residential bourgeois area, a street full of little shops, the financial center, the parlement buildings, and finally the market.
It is a colourful journey but it is also very stressful with constant stop and go, cars turning left and right, construction and patching of roads, and pedestrians.
The radio keeps me company and keeps me informed of the news (and stupid anecdotes) of the city, which inevitably makes my trip a true urban experience.
